We are still a fairly new arrival to the St Albans restaurant scene, opening our doors this year in July 2014. We are proud to be an independent, family run (us the Carroll family) restaurant, the name for our restaurant; 4 Nations simply comes from our concept of serving great traditional dishes from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Our restaurant is set on the 1st floor within a beautiful Tudor beamed building, within a cobbled court yard, halfway down George Street in what was The George Inn back in the 15th century. At the helm are Vincent and Kevin Carroll, brothers with a combined 25 years’ experience working within the catering industry, Vincent’s wife Samantha manages the sales and marketing side of the business as well as working front of house. The brothers were born and raised just outside of Mallow, in County Cork, Ireland, the family are all seriously passionate about offering great food at a reasonable price and excellent customer service. Using only the best quality ingredients available supplied by local, predominantly Hertfordshire based businesses including A&C Meats, Stickleback Fish, Sparshotts, Lewis of London (Ice-Cream) and Flagship Wines, to name a few.
