Around 2500 people are expected to attend the return of one of the towns favourite music festivals this July. Hosted at The Marlborough Science Academy and now in its 7th year, the M Festival has raised over £30,000 for the school since it started in 2010. As well as some great live music, the day will see lots of activities for the family to enjoy, including zorbing, face painting, bouncy castles, henna & glitter tattoos, hair braiding, jousting, rodeo bull, bungee run, fun photobooth, a caricaturist., balloon modelling, mini-pamper treatments and a new kids zone. Art, Drama and craft workshops will also be running throughout the day!
There are plenty of food and drink options too with a BBQ using fresh meat sourced locally, homemade vegetarian & ethnic foods, hog roast, chicken & chips, smoothies/shakes, ice creams, pancakes, beer, cider and PIMMS tents and a cake/tuck shop to name but a few.The Festival is open to everyone in the community and gates open at 2:30pm on July 9th with live music from 3pm and our headliners on stage at 9:30pm. The festival goes out with a bang at 11:00pm with a fireworks finale!
