Retirees are invited to an exclusive viewing of Eleanor House on London Road on Friday 11th June, when the McCarthy Stone team opens the doors to the Retirement Living Plus development, where just five luxury apartments are now remaining.
Appointment bookings are now being taken between 10:30am and 5pm for socially distanced tours of Eleanor House, giving local retirees the opportunity to find out more about the independent lifestyle they could be enjoying at the community, which features a collection of luxury Retirement Living Plus apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 70 and over. The safety of McCarthy Stone homeowners and guests will be paramount during the open day, with all appointments managed on a one-to-one basis.
Guests will be able to walk around the show complex before moving on to the development’s social areas, including the homeowners’ lounge, private landscaped gardens and bistro, which serves freshly prepared meals daily for those who do not always want to cook in their own apartments.
McCarthy Stone representatives will also be on hand throughout the day to provide a warm welcome, to explain the many benefits of Retirement Living Plus and answer any questions guests may have about Eleanor House. They can also chat guests through the bespoke personal packages, which are available for retirees who need extra support – from help with laundry or cleaning, to round the clock personal care to suit their individual needs.
Guests who attend the open day and take a tour will receive a National Trust gift card, so they can experience spectacular local places at their leisure this spring. They will also be entered into a draw to win one of 10 annual National Trust memberships. Terms and conditions apply and can be found at https://www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk/lifestyle-gift/
Prices for a two-bedroom apartment at Eleanor House currently start from £530,000. There are also rental options available to make moving even easier, with rents currently starting from £2,600pcm for a one-bedroom apartment and from £4,110pcm for a two-bedroom apartment.
More than nine out of 10 customers would recommend McCarthy Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full Five Star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 16 years’ running. McCarthy Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade for 16 consecutive years, which is every year the awards have been run.
McCarthy Stone also received the Housebuilder Special Recognition Award 2020 for working hard to protect its customers – Covid-19 infection rates among homeowners are significantly below the national rate of infection across all age groups – and for innovation in the retirement sector.
