THE St Albans team will unveil their new store refurbishment on Saturday 29th May, with special guests attending and a raffle for the Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
Work has been underway at the Market Place store since the end of last year, and the 35-strong team are now preparing for an exciting relaunch event.
All activities will be hosted outside with no more than 30 people allowed to gather at one time to comply with Government guidance.
To mark the relaunch, singer Pop Princess, who recently starred on the BBC game show ‘I Can See Your Voice’, will be singing songs from musical theatre outside the store and handing out specially made Specsavers Disney stickers to children.
The team are also delighted to be hosting a raffle to raise money for the Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Three £100 gift cards will be up for grabs, and special guest and Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves will be there to draw the lucky winners. With a balloon arch, goodie bags and cupcakes, the event promises to be an exciting occasion.
Lewis Carroll, who has been a Specsavers director for 25 years, said: “We can’t wait to showcase our enhanced services to the local community. We have been in our store for 25 years so it was definitely time to make the upgrade.
“We are proud to be able to invest in St Albans and bring more to the community – especially in a year that has been tough for the High Street. As many of our long-standing staff are local to the area, it is our utmost priority to ensure we play a part in the community and make a positive difference to the High Street.”Photos
