St Albans Dads Network

St Albans Dads Network (SDN) was established in 2008 as a meeting point for local dads in St Albans. It is a very informal group with over 70 members. The dads meet up every 3 weeks at a pub in the city and chat over a few pints and this can often spill over to a curry. We have organised cricket events, picnics and we have more events lined up for 2011 such as Saturday football for the kids – of course boys and girls. A sports day is also being planned.
So… it’s not just drinking down the pub, we also involve the whole family.
If you would like to come along one evening to see what it’s all about then checkout the facebook page to see where we are meeting. We’re not hard to miss, just look out for a load of blokes looking tired, swapping the odd baby story and laughing a lot.
There is no joining fee or subscriptions, just turn up when you want pop and tenner in the whip and get chatting.
