The Rose and Crown

A traditional 16th Century Public house, privately owned, which is family and dog friendly.

Situated in the beautiful village of St. Michaels, the pub is located opposite the entrance to the stunning Verulamium Park and Lakes, close to the Roman Museum.

Internally the pub boasts a step back in time with a classic beams throughout. There’s a hugh inglenook fireplace in the crown bar and in the Rose bar you enjoy our refreshing, simple, seasonal menus including our gourmet sandwiches, lite bites, salads
and vegetarian options at Lunchtime. In the evening our traditional home cooked pub fayre menu kicks in with daily specials and a great range of of cask ales and eclectic wine list.
