Sandridge 10k and Family Fun Run is a trail run on 18th September 2022 with 9.15am start for the fun run and a 10am start for the 10k.
The start and finish is at Sandridge Primary School, Woodcock Hill, Sandridge, St Albans, AL4 9EB. There will be a food and drinks festival at the race Headquarters in the school playing field.
This year we are going to be running together. After two years of socially distanced covid running, we are very excited that 2022 is Sandridge 10k’s inaugural mass start event.
There will be prizes and trophies for winners. Runners are offered, at registration, the opportunity to opt for a tree to be planted instead of receiving a medal.

Spinning wool into yarn and then weaving it into cloth was a staple skill in the Roman world.
Join us to have a go at the ancient art of Drop Spinning, turning sheep wool into your own yarn. If time allows, you can then weave with your yarn.
Arrive at any point during the session and stay for as long as you’d like. The more you spin, the more yarn you’ll have to weave with.
Recommended for ages 7+ (all children must be accompanied by an adult). Adults without children welcome.
Sessions: 10.00 – 11.30am & 1:00 – 2.30pm
£5 per participant.
