Meating Room

Having lived and raised our young families in St Albans, we identified the need for a gourmet burger dining experience. We are delighted to be part of the burgeoning number of great independent restaurants on offer in St Albans.

The menu, though simple, is quality focused as we are passionate about good food. Our 100% traceable British Beef burgers are hand pressed daily, never frozen. We use only the freshest and finest tasting produce, which we are determined to ensure is ethically sourced.

We know that children develop a natural preference for the foods they enjoy the most, so the challenge has been to make healthy choices appealing. We have tried to ensure that our children’s menu is as nutritious and wholesome as possible, even while allowing for some treats. The childhood impulse to imitate is strong, consequently as with the main menu there are no hidden nasties in our kids meals, everything is handmade in our kitchen including the delicious relishes.

St Albans has a solid sense of community spirit, we wanted to replicate that in our restaurant; from the themed menu to our commitment to providing jobs and apprenticeships to local young people. Any surplus stock is donated to the Jubliee Centre Community Meals team in St Albans.
